Aditya Dhar is a renowned name in bollywood fraternity. He is the writer and director of URI: The Surgical Strike. This film was ranked among the highest grossing films of the year 2019.


Aditya Dhar received Best Director award at the 66th National Film Awards 2019 for URI: The Surgical Strike. This was his first film as a director.

URI: The Surgical Strike was blockbuster hit on box office. This really helped boost acting career of Vicky Kaushal and other actors involved in it.
